This document represents a legal document that serves as TripOnGo's Privacy Policy. It governs the privacy terms of the Company's website. The Privacy Policy is part of the Legal Terms.


Capitalized terms, unless defined below, have the meaning specified within the Definitions Section of the Terms and Conditions.

USER PRIVACY


TripOnGo. follows all legal requirements to protect its users' privacy. The Privacy Policy is a legal statement that explains how the website may collect information from its users, how it may share the users information, and how the users can limit website from sharing of their information.


The Company breaks up the types of information the users share into Non-Personal Information and Personally Identifiable Information.




"Non-Personal Information" is any information that is not personally identifiable to the user and that the website automatically collects when a user accesses the website.


"Personally Identifiable Information" is non-public information that is personally identifiable to the user and is obtained for the website to provide the user access to certain features of the website. This can include information about the user's entity as a provider or as a member.


When purchases are made from a provider on TripOnGo website, Personally Identifiable Information may include information such as the provider's email address, physical location, business name, and other related information that the provider provided to the website or that the website obtained about the provider. It may also include any images that were uploaded by the provider when using TripOnGo website, as well as credit cards or other payment information that the provider presented when to facilitate purchase through the website.

INFORMATION TRIPONGO COLLECTS


Generally, the user controls the amount and type of information they provide TripOnGo when using the website.


As a visitor, a user can browse the website to find out more about the Company. No user is required to provide TripOnGo with any Personally Identifiable Information as a visitor.


However, to register as a member, the user must provide Personally Identifiable Information to TripOnGo in order for the website to provide the user with certain features of the website.


A member's Personally Identifiable Information is collected in the following ways:




For Registration


When a user registers for membership, the website collects the user's name and email address so that it can communicate with the user regarding the services offered by the website.




Participation in the website


A user can upload member content as a part of using the website. A user should take great care in what they upload so as not to infringe on their own privacy or that of others. The Company is not responsible to review what information a user uploads.




Online Purchases


Members can make purchases of products/services from a provider through TripOnGo website. The payment information the user provides clearly contains Personally Identifiable Information. However, any payment information that the user gives to a provider outside of TripOnGo website is not subject to this Privacy Policy.




Online Forms


Online forms may be used on TripOnGo website. The information a user enters on these online forms may contain Personally Identifiable Information.




Computer Information Collected


When a user uses the TripOnGo website, TripOnGo automatically collects certain computer information by the interaction of the device and the web browser used to access the website. Such information is typically considered Non-Personal Information. This Non-Personal Information that TripOnGo collects, is the following:




Cookies


TripOnGo website uses Cookies to identify the areas of the website that a user has visited. A Cookie is a small piece of data stored on the user's device by the web browser used to browse the website. TripOnGo uses Cookies to personalize the content that a user sees on the website. Most web browsers can be set to disable the use of Cookies. However, if a user has disable Cookies, they may not be able to access all functions of the website correctly. Personally Identifiable Information is never placed in Cookies.




Web Beacons


TripOnGo may use a technology called Web Beacons to collect general information about the user's use of TripOnGo website, special promotions, or newsletters. The information collected by Web Beacons allows TripOnGo to statistically monitor the number of people that open the emails sent by the Company. Web Beacons are not used to track a user's activity outside of the website. TripOnGo We does not link Non-Personal Information from the Web Beacons to Personally Identifiable Information without a user's permission.




Automatic Information


TripOnGo automatically receives some information from a user's web browser on their device. This information includes the name of the website from which a user entered TripOnGo website, if any, as well as the name of the website to which that user is headed to when they leave TripOnGo website. This information also includes the IP address of the user's computer/proxy server that they used to access the Internet, their internet provider name, type of web browser, type of device used, and the device's operating system. TripOnGo uses this information to analyse trends among its users to help improve the website.

TripOnGo uses the information it receives from its users as follows:




Improving the TripOnGo website


TripOnGo may use the Personally Identifiable information a user provides, along with any computer information it receives to provide the website to the user in the best possible way, as well as to make improvements to the website.




Communications and Email Alerts


When TripOnGo communicates with a user about its website, it will use the email address the user provided when registering as member. TripOnGo may send the user website alerts regarding their use of the website. Finally, TripOnGo may also send the user emails with promotional information about TripOnGo, unless the user opts out of receiving such information. A user can change contact preferences at any time through their account. While a user can opt-out of promotional messages, they cannot opt-out of receiving website alerts.




Sharing Information with Affiliates and Other Third Parties


TripOnGo does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide its users' Personally Identifiable Information to third parties for marketing purposes. However, TripOnGo may use demographic information for data aggregation purposes which might be sold to other parties at the Company's discretion. Any such data aggregation would not contain any of the users' Personally Identifiable Information. The company may provide the users' Personally Identifiable Information to affiliates that provide websites to TripOnGo with regards to its website (i.e. payment processors, webhosting companies, etc.); such affiliates will only receive information necessary to provide the respective website and will be bound by confidentiality agreements limiting the use of such information.




Community Discussion Boards


TripOnGo website may offer its users the capability to communicate with each other through online community discussion boards. TripOnGo does not filter or monitor what is posted on such discussion boards. If a user chooses to post on these discussion boards, they should be careful so as not to expose any Personally Identifiable Information, as such information is not protected by the Company's Privacy Policy, nor is the Company liable should a user chooses to disclose Personally Identifiable Information through such postings.




Legally Required Releases of Information


TripOnGo may be legally required to disclose a user's Personally Identifiable Information, if such disclosure is (a) required by subpoena, law, or other legal process; (b) necessary to assist law enforcement officials or government enforcement agencies; (c) necessary to investigate violations of or otherwise enforce the Company's Legal Terms; (d) necessary to protect the Company from legal action or claims from third parties including the user and/or other members; and/or (e) necessary to protect the legal rights, personal/real property, or personal safety of TripOnGo, its users, employees, and affiliates.




Disclosures to Successors


If TripOnGo is acquired or merges, in whole or in part, with another business, then that business would become responsible for providing the website to the users. While TripOnGo retains the right to transfer its users' Personally Identifiable Information to the new business, the new business would retain the right to use the users' Personally Identifiable Information according to the terms of this Privacy Policy as well as to any changes to this Privacy Policy as instituted by the new business.




Protecting Children’s Privacy


TripOnGo aims to protect every child's privacy. Though the website is not designed to be used by a child, the Company realizes that a child may attempt to access the website, and in this case, the website does not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from the child. If a parent or guardian believes their child is using TripOnGo website, they should contact the Company. The Company may ask for proof of identification to prevent malicious removal of account information. If the Company discovers on its own that a child is accessing TripOnGo website, the Company will delete the information as soon as it discovers this information, will neither use the information for any purpose, nor will disclose the information to third parties. The users of TripOnGo website acknowledge that the Company does not verify the age of its users nor is it liable to do so. TripOnGo is not for users under the age of thirteen and should not be accessed by them.




Protecting the Privacy Rights of Third Parties


TripOnGo believes in everyone’s right to privacy. If any member uploads content to TripOnGo website containing images of third-parties (i.e. bystanders), they need to make sure that they have the permission to include these third-parties in their images. While TripOnGo is not legally liable for the actions of its users, if notified, it will remove any images that violate the privacy rights of others.




Links to Other Websites


TripOnGo website may contain links to other websites, i.e. Third-Party Websites. The users agree that TripOnGo has no control over such Third-Party Websites and that such Third-Party Websites are NOT subject to this Privacy Policy. These Third-Party Websites may have their own privacy policies and other legal documents. It is a user's sole responsibility to verify the privacy policies and other legal documents of such Third-Party Websites to see how they treat their personal information. The users acknowledge that their use and access of these Third-Party Websites is solely at their own risk.




TripOnGo Email Policy


TripOnGo and its affiliates fully comply with international laws regarding SPAM. Users can always opt out of receiving further email correspondence from TripOnGo and/or its affiliates. TripOnGo agrees that it will not sell, rent, or trade any user's email addresses to any unaffiliated third-party without the user's permission.




TripOnGo Security Policy


TripOnGo has constructed its website using industry standard encryption and authentication tools to protect its users' Personally Identifiable Information. When the Company collects its users' Personally Identifiable Information through its website, it encrypts this information and attempts to prevent unauthorized access to the information by using industry standard technologies, such as encryption software, routers and firewalls. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the Internet, TripOnGo cannot completely guarantee that the users' Personally Identifiable Information is completely protected. Therefore, the Company strongly urges the users to protect any passwords that they may have for TripOnGo website and to not share it with anyone. Users should always log out of TripOnGo website when they are not using it, especially if they are sharing the device that they browsed TripOnGo website on with someone else or are using a public device.




Privacy Policy Updates


TripOnGo reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. Users should review this Privacy Policy frequently. If the Company makes material changes to the policy, it will notify the users on the website, by email, or by means of a notice on the website's home page. Whenever the Privacy Policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date placed at the beginning of this Privacy Policy will also be changed. Any changes made to this Privacy Policy are effective as of this Last Updated date and replace any prior Privacy Policies.




Changing User Information


Users may change their email address or other Personally Identifiable Information at any time using the account management features found on TripOnGo website.

Dubai Privacy Rights identifies the practices of TripOnGo as they relate to the use and sharing of personal information about Dubai residents collected through this website.


Under the law of the State of Dubai, Dubai residents who provide personal information via a website or other online service, such as this website, may request and obtain from TripOnGo, once each calendar year, information about the personal information TripOnGo shared, if any, with other businesses for its own direct marketing uses. Where applicable, this information would include the categories of personal information, and the names and addresses of those businesses with which TripOnGo shared personal information for the prior calendar year.
